The Challenge
Stonecroft is a well-loved 150 year old property in Ilkley that had been outgrown by its current owners and therefore the brief was to sympathetically renovate and modernise the existing building and to construct a large extension to accommodate the owner’s needs.
The solution
Adamco working alongside the designer and architect designed a structural steel framework that allowed the construction of an ultra-modern and efficient extension which perfectly complements and enhances the original architecture. The use of modern building materials and processes were essential to the success of the project but the Adamco team and the designer were keen to maintain the historical integrity of the original.

The outcome
The new contemporary living space including garage is a total of 529.24 square meters an increase from the original footprint of 371.44 square meters. The entire project was achieved within the timescale specified and on budget.
